Article: The NEW Cafe Milano in Stockholm, Sweden

Yesterday we revisited the newly uplifted and changed Cafe Milano. Nothing from the old restaurant is left and the new face of this traditional restaurant in the Stockholm culinary scene has been given a new face, new owner and new innovation. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and must be the hottest and most decorated Italian restaurant in Sweden.

The standard and choice of materials has been amazing. From the dining tables to raw materials and food ingredients feels very Peter Nordin and his amazing focus on details. Peter Nordin has done it yet again together with his amazing partners; the brothers Filip and Daniel Güven.

The food is made with a perfect balance of seasoning, olive oil, and cheese. We started of with a great mix of finger food that included an amazing polenta, olives and cold cuts. For starters a superb tomato sauce with parma ham and figs was presented and a perfect start of the evening had begun.
When the main course came and the first slice of the "happy" big, as Peter Nordin, describes it, the knife cut it like butter. The meat was tender, perfectly seasoned and taste divine.

For dessert we had the Torta di Polenta which was superb. To the Polenta it was served home made yogurt that just hit the spot of delightness.

The evening ended with perfection and for a all day dining Italian restaurant we adored the place and nothing from the old dusty Cafe Milano is left. A new and uplifted and stunning Cafe Milano has been presented to Stockholm.

Final Grade: 4,5 out of 5
