French food in Sweden

Brasserie Le Rouge in Stockholm will give you an very exciting evening. From the interior to the excellent service and the food gives good quality. However my portion was a bit to salty. I enjoyed the wine that was recommended by the waiter however the wine that we ordered from the beginning was out of stock and that is not appriciated. I enjoyed my "salty" Boeuf Bourguignon however it was far from perferction. The Contre Filet was superb, the meat was perfectly cooked and provided a taste that gave nice juice and flavours. The Thon a La Nicoise (tuna) was made very nicely and I loved the match wtih the chosen wine. Also to try is the Riz Forestiere (mushroom risotto), the rise was cooked perfectly however the dish was way to salty. Sometimes it was like eating risotto with a table spoon of salt.

Overall the location, interior, staff service and experience was good however the food needs more work and the prices are way to expensive for its standard. I would rather recommend other restaurants in the same price category however for drinks in the bar is a must.
